WHAT IS THE EUROFOLHA SEAL?
If you've ever noticed a green leaf with white stars on the packaging of organic products, you've found Eurofolha.
This symbol, regulated by the European Union at the European level and nationally by national regulatory bodies, guarantees that the product meets strict organic production standards, without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or GMOs.
For packaged products , Eurofolha must be accompanied by the certifying body's code and the origin of the ingredients:

EU/non-EU agriculture
EU vs. Non-EU Agriculture:Below the Euroleaf symbol, there is an indication that may say "EU Agriculture", "Non-EU Agriculture" or a combination of both. This indicates the origin of the organic ingredients, always guaranteeing in which region they were produced according to the same strict rules.
WHAT DOES PT-BIO-04 MEAN?The first characters indicate the country where the product was certified. So now you know, if you find products marked "PT," they are certified in Portugal. The last two digits refer to the certifying body, in our case Certiplanet, code 04.
AUDITED CERTIFICATE: TOTAL CONFIDENCEFor a product to be considered organic, its production must be audited and certified by independent entities approved by the European Union. This process includes regular inspections, laboratory analyses, and control of the entire production and preparation chain.
